The buildings in They Are Billions can be rotated, to let you finely tune your layout and make the best use of the terrain you have. This goes for walls and gates as well, and it’s quite a necessary tool. The problem is the game doesn’t clearly state how to do so. That’s why we’ve written this guide, to show you how to rotate buildings, walls and gates in They Are Billions.
How to rotate buildings in They Are Billions
In order to rotate a building, you’ll have to press Tab. This will turn the building around its axis by 90 degrees, letting you place it exactly how and where you think is best. Some buildings, like the barracks, cannot be rotated so be careful when placing them. If you put them directly next to a wall, you may end up with units getting stuck and being unable to leave the building. This shouldn’t be much of a problem, though, as it’s unwise to put buildings next to walls anyway. You’ll most often want some buffer between them, so the infected don’t get to them as soon as the walls fall.
