Watch Dogs Legion Holster Weapon

You can holster your weapon in Watch Dogs Legion. Since walking around with your weapon in hand will scare civilians and alert the police, it’s an extremely useful option to have. Sadly, the game doesn’t do a stellar job of explaining it, and some players are left wondering how to holster weapon in Watch Dogs Legion. If you’re one of them, then this guide is for you.

How to holster weapon in Watch Dogs Legion

If you’re playing on a console, simply press down on the D-Pad to holster your weapon. If you’re on PC, the default for holstering a gun is T, like in the previous game. A less optimal way of holstering a weapon is available through the weapon wheel – hold down on the D-Pad or press Q on the keyboard, then select your fists.

When you do, your mask will go down as well – but only if you’re not being actively chased. So make sure you always put away the weapon and mask after you’re done with mischief making, or else you’ll attract unwanted attention.

This isn’t the only issue people are having with the game at this point, but most of the others are a technical nature. The PC version reportedly crashes more than many would like, and the framerate often doesn’t quite reach 60, while the Xbox version has a serious bug in the 404 mission, which makes the console overheat and shut down to prevent damage. Not being able to holster your weapon seems like a comparatively small issue, even if you do end up with a few angry police officers on your tail.
