How Many Party Members are in Xenoblade Chronicles 2?

There’s six main party members in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 that you’ll be taking on this epic journey. We’re, of course, not going to include the various Rare Blades here. If you want to know how to get these, check out our Xenoblade Chronicles 2 How to Get New Blades – Bond Blade Guide. Anyway, the six party members are Rex, Nia, Tora, Zeke, Vandham, and Morag. You can equip these characters, as well. Some of them, like Tora and Nia, will come and go from the party. One of them, Vandham, appear to leave the party for good at one point.

On top of these six characters, two more will also join your party at some point, bringing the total up to eight, technically speaking. The characters in question are Jin and Malos. You can’t equip them with stuff, and they’ll be joining the party temporarily. In other words, they are overall kinda less important than the six mentioned above. Still, they will be party members, so we’re mentioning them here.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is out worldwide on December 1st for the Nintendo Switch. For more info on the game, you can check out our Xenoblade Chronicles 2 How Long To Beat and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Romance articles.
