Owl Protected by Dragons TOTK Display Power of Sage of Wind

The “Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins” is a long and involved questchain that consists of several smaller quests. Each of them requires that you solve a different Thyphlo Ruins puzzle. Of course, “The Owl Protected by Dragons” quest is no different. You receive it from Kazul the Zonai Researcher, who has found a Monolith that holds the following message: “Display the power of the Sage of Wind to the owl protected by many dragons.” But where do you need to display the power of the Sage of Wind to complete The Owl Protected by Dragons quest in Zelda TotK? here’s what you need to do and where.

Once you speak to Kazul in the Thyphlo Ruins, he will instruct you to read the nearby monoliths. Reading the first of these will kick off the “Owl Protected by Dragons” side adventure. Luckily, the solution is pretty simple and even better – you can do this very quickly. As soon as you are done reading this, climb the wall behind the monolith. You are going to see a large statue of an owl there.

Move to the central platform right in front of the statue, at 0363, 3055, 0175. What you want to do next is to use your Vow of Tulin, Sage of Wind ability. Specifically, Tulin’s Gust ability. Make sure that you are aiming this ability straight towards the Owl statue and that you are standing on the platform while doing so. If you have done this correctly, the platform is going to rise, revealing a chest underneath. Loot the chest to find x3 Sapphires there and to complete “The Owl Protected by Dragons” side adventure in the “Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins” questchain.
