So, you are planning to upgrade Fierce Deity armor in Tears of the Kingdom? And to upgrade the Fierce Deity Mask and the Boots? Then you probably want to know the upgrade cost. Luckily for you, you’ve come to the right place! Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know:
- Fierce Deity Armor
- 1st Level – 5 Hinox Toe Nails & 3 Dragon Scales (1x Naydra, 1x Dinraal and 1x Farosh).
- 2nd Level – 5 Hinox Teeth & 3 Dragon Claws (1x Naydra, 1x Dinraal and 1x Farosh).
- 3rd Level – 2 Hinox Guts & 3 Shard of Dragon’s Fangs (1x Naydra, 1x Dinraal and 1x Farosh).
- 4th Level – 2 Lyonel Guts & 3 Dragon Horns (1x Naydra, 1x Dinraal and 1x Farosh)..

Clarification: for these upgrades, you only need *1* Dragon Material per piece per upgrade, not all three per upgrade – the same goes for the other material (i.e., 1st level is 5 Hinox Toe Nails per piece per upgrade – the total is 15 for all 3 pieces; and either Dinraal, Naydra, OR Farosh Scale – one per piece, so will need 1 from all 3 dragons to upgrade all pieces). The guide definitely helped me plan ahead and get the material as/when I saw a dragon in the sky or came across a Hinox. Working on getting the 4th level now – need 2 Lynel guts per armor piece, so 6 total for the whole set. Thanks!
For Lynel guts, I reccomend using royal guard claymore for mounted attacks, and some decently powered weapons, there’s a colloseum in the depths that have you fight 5 lynels, 1 at a time.
Could you specify which armor piece needs what specific dragon? I know that it involves all three dragons.
Any of the three will do the trick.
That is currently untrue. I just went to each dragon to grab a random piece because that’s what you said.
The fairy is saying Farosh’s Scale for the boots, Naydra’s Claw for the chest, Dinraal’s scale for the head.
Not sure what the materials are in the previous versions. But no you cannot use just one singular dragon’s materials. Each piece of the fierce diety armor set in version1.1.2. Needs 1 scale, 1 tooth, 1 claw, and 1 horn from each dragon for all 4 stages of upgrades. So you’ll need 1 scale from each dragon for the first upgrade. 1 claw from each dragon for the 2nd upgrade. 1 fang each for the 3rd. And finally 1 horn from each dragon for the final upgrade. I’m on version 1.1.2 and just finished upgrading the fierce diety set.
