Apollonion of Cyrene Papyrus Location

Apollonion of Cyrene is a temple in the city of Cyrene. This city is in the northwestern part of the map, in the Kyrenaika area (level 34-38). This is a rather large town, and it is hard to miss once you enter the zone. The temple is in the northwestern part of town, just south from the atrium.

Use the entrance in the southeastern part of the temple. Continue forward and keep to your left. Just before you reach the door on the other side of the room, you’ll spot a small table. The papyrus is on it, waiting for adventurers to find it.

Dead or Alive Riddle Solution

Description: In the southwest section of the Green Mountains lives a monstrous beast with sharp tusks and tough grey skin. In his deadly arena you can find me, between the edge of the arena and where the beast sates his thirst.

The Green Mountains zone is just south from where you picked up the papyrus. If you zoom in the map’s southwestern part, you’ll spot three small ponds. This is your goal, head there.

The monstrous beast with sharp tusks is actually an objective of the Roman Camp of Surus, where two of the three ponds are. This area is surrounded by a palisade, and you’ll have to jump over it. As soon as you do, Surus will attack you. To get the loot and complete the Dead or Alive puzzle, you’ll need to find a spot between the larger pond and the wall. This is where the beast sates his thirst.
