How to Get Vines Animal Crossing New Horizons

Currently, there’s only one way to get vines in Animal Crossing New Horizons. You can find them on an island, after hiring Kapp’n to take you there on his boat. There are many islands that you can end up on this way, and if you sail to the one with that has vines growing on it, Kapp’n will inform you of that fact. He will say something along the lines of: “Hm? Looks like thar be vines growing on the cliffs…” This will also give you a hint of where you need to look. So, explore the island until you encounter the vines on the cliffs and pick them up.

How to Use Vines in ACNH

Vines fulfil the same function they do in countless action movies. Namely – you can climb up them. When you find a vine, you can either choose to pick it up, or to climb it. When you pick them up, you can then place vines on cliffs. This provides you with a permanent spot to climb up and down. Place them on specific locations around your island to make travelling from one location to another even easier. Besides this, they can also be used to make furniture. You can also sell vines at Nook’s Cranny. However, since you only get 50 Bells for them and considering they have much better uses – not to mention how rare they are – you’re much better off using them for other purposes.
