How to get rid of villagers?

Thankfully, it’s nothing as grim as the picture above would lead you to believe. You can’t just whack a villager on the head and bury their lifeless body in that one spot you know where the ground is soft, wrapped in a carpet you’ve painstakingly crafted yourself.

Instead, what you’ll want to do is go to resident services and talk to Isabelle. One of the options she offers is to discuss a resident. Pick that and make a complaint. After a while, this will make the landlords evict said villager, and you’ll be free to invite another in their stead. If you’re impatient, you can try making several complaints in a row.

If you have no idea who Isabell is, you probably haven’t progressed through the story enough. She appears after a certain point and takes over Resident Services after you’ve upgraded it.

While you’re waiting for security to throw out the poor bastard, you can kill time by trading turnips on the Stalk Market, trading fruit using Dodo codes, or catching wasps and selling them for profit. Although why anyone would buy wasps is entirely beyond me, the Nooks seem to be happy with buying suspicious amounts of the aggressive little critters. Those people are up to something.

This isn’t correct. Complaining to Isabelle just resets clothing and catchphrases that the villager may have picked up. Ignoring villagers is how you get rid of them. Please make sure you’re publishing correct information.

Ok so hi. I got ACNH last week and i rlly love it. Idk why but one day i decided to add a user on my switch to make a new character that could move on my island. Later on i told myself it was useless so i deleted the user i created thinking the tent that i set up would disappear. So i deleted the user and went back to the game and the tent is still here. I cant remove it or anything i dont know what to do remove it. Pls help

What you have to do is talk to Tom Nook at the start of opening your game. Go to settings and you’ll need to find the option to remove a resident

Are you sure because I don’t see anything about removing a resident. I only see deleting my island.

You kinda put yourself in a bad spot. To delete a SECOND user who isn’t the resident rep you need to talk to Tom Nook first. You only can delete the resident rep.’s data through the switch itself. You glitched it.

You can press – on the title screen and it lets you remove that user

Okay, I had this happen as well. What you want to do to restart is to go to settings on the switch itself, so go to settings and find data management. At the bottom of data management there is delete save data. Delete animal crossings save data and wala.

This is incorrect. What you do is: Hit them with a net alot. Time travel forward 30 days. Someone will ask to move deny until the villager you hate asks.
    Then kick them out!

None of this is true can you please make it to where you can kill an animal with like bombs or something and if you can’t animal crossing is dumb

    1. M

I don’t think you can slay villagers in this game as it is a family-friendly game and it would be inappropriate to be able to assassinate villagers.

    2. P

Um that’s not how animal crossing is if you don’t like that then this is not the game for you

  5. U

Wow so that’s how u do it. I have AC and I really love it. It’s just that I don’t think that’s how I do it

Hi! Just wanted to point out that this article is very incorrect. If you do what this article suggests, your respective villager will only change their outfit or their catchphrase!
