Biomutant Perfect Reload - How It Works

Perfect Reload is a general perk in Biomutant that instantly reloads your gun and gives 20% extra damage for the next magazine. It’s an incredibly useful perk to have if you’re playing a gunslinger. However, there’s a bit of a problem with Perfect Reload, because it doesn’t work the same way as most other passive perks. We’ll explain it all in our Biomutant Perfect Reload – How It Works guide.

Biomutant Perfect Reload – How It Works

How Biomutant Perfect Reload Works

Perfect Reload in Biomutant is, as we’ve said, a general perk that you can unlock with any class. All perks give different passive effects, and this one’s description reads: “Your ranged weapons are reloaded instantly and your next magazine is granted +20% damage.” That’s a pretty solid thing to have if you’re focusing more on ranged combat rather than melee. If you want to have it available from the get-go, you should choose the Dead-Eye class during character creation, but again, you can get it no matter how you initially build your mutant hamster.

With all that said, we should mention that there is a catch with Perfect Reload. Namely, unlike other perks that are completely passive, this one actually requires some action. You have to press a prompt at the right moment in order to trigger it. If you just reload, it won’t necessarily work. The timing of the Biomutant Perfect Reload perk takes some practice, but once you do get used to it, you become a veritable buzzsaw with the speed and extra damage. Add a really good gun to the mix, and you’ll just melt through enemies.

So, that’s what you need to know about the Perfect Reload perk. If you need more help with Biomutant, feel free to check out some of our other guides.
