Cyberpunk 2077 on GOG Offers Extra Digital Goodies

Cyberpunk 2077 is being made by CD Projekt Red. CDPR also owns the GOG store. Put them together, and what have you got? Extra digital stuff that they’ll throw in if you pick the game up via GOG, and that’ll be exclusive there. This is gonna include a booklet about the game itself, wallpapers and avatars, and even print-quality posters. And, there’s a special something if you pre-order before June 17th, while the GOG Summer Sale is going on.

The GOG store, being a part of CD Projekt Red, is going to offer a bit extra for those that purchase Cyberpunk 2077. Specifically, according to the press release, you can get “an exclusive digital booklet about the game (details about it will be revealed later), an additional set of wallpapers and avatars, and print quality Cyberpunk 2077 posters.” Oh, and also a 30% discount in the CDPR merch store if you pre-order before June 17th. So, yeah, that’s what CD Projekt Red is offering all y’all that purchase Cyberpunk 2077 through the most direct channel. You’re only get this stuff on GOG.

Last, but in no way the least, during the GOG Summer Sale, you can get the Simply: RED – CD PROJEKT RED Collection. For $98, you can pre-order Cyberpunk, and also get the three Witcher games (all of them Enhanced / GOTY editions), The Witcher Adventure Game, and Thronebreaker. Now, I’m not one to ever condone pre-ordering. But, if you’ve missed out on any of these games, and definitely want to go for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, then honestly, this is a damn solid deal for you. The sale lasts until June 17th.

As was recently revealed in the Cyberpunk 2077 cinematic trailer, the game is launching next year; April 16th, 2020, to be exact, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. So, there’s plenty of time to get yourself hyped. And, as of writing this article, you have a week to decide if you want to pre-order it on GOG and acquire all the other CDPR games in the bundle.
