The Cyberpunk 2077 announcement at E3 has launched the buzz about the game into the stratosphere. Along with announcing the launch date, CDPR also revealed the different editions of the game, both of which come with a shocking amount of extra stuff. So, let’s take a gander, shall we?
Now, before we begin, I have to point out the fact that it’s hard to tell whether the items we’re gonna list are actually pre-order bonuses, or if you’ll get all the items regardless. With that said, let’s begin. First off, the stuff you’ll get in the Standard Edition. The digital items include the game’s soundtrack, an art booklet, wallpapers for desktop and mobile, and the Cyberpunk 2020 source book, which is pretty cool. The physical bonuses include a case with game discs, a case with the game code and soundtrack CDs (on PC), a reversible cover, and World Compendium; plus a Night City map and postcards, as well as some stickers.
Next up, the Collector’s Edition. It comes with the same digital items as the Standard Edition, but way more physical stuff. You get the Collector’s Edition box, a case with game discs (on console), a case with the game code and the soundtrack CDs (PC), a reversible cover, and a collectible steel book. Then, we go to a 10-inch (25 cm) statue of the protagonist, a hardcover art book, a metal pin set, a Quadra Vtech (aka your car) keychain and an annotated copy of the Night City Visitor guide sealed in an evidence bag.
We’re not done. The Collector’s Edition also comes with embroidered patches, the world compendium, plus the stickers, postcards, and map of Night City. Goddamn, that’s an impressive haul. No canvas bags, though, but I think we shall survive. By the way, if you want to pre-order the game, you can do so now via the SIMPLY: RED collection on GOG and get a whole ton of extra stuff. The launch date of Cyberpunk 2077 has recently been revealed for April 16th, 2020. You’ll be able to pick it up on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. A long time to wait to be friends with cyber Keanu Reeves, I know; but I’m sure it’s gonna be worth it.
