Not sure how to transfer your renown to the seasonal character in Diablo 4 Season 1? If your seasonal character didn’t get renown in D4 Season 1, don’t worry. There’s a simple solution. Here’s how to claim the Eternal Realm renown for your seasonal character in Diablo 4 Season 1.
Renown Didn’t Carry Over to Seasonal Character in Diablo 4 Season 1
Blizzard’s original plan for Altar of Lilith‘s renown and other collectables in Diablo 4 was that you’d need to do it all over again with each new season. However, there was an outrage within the community, as no sane person wanted to do that tiresome job with each new season. Hence, there was a change of heart. Now, you will be able to transfer all your renown to your seasonal character in Diablo 4 Season 1. However, at the start of the season, many players are having issues claiming their renown.
“From what I read I thought renown would transfer so you’d get extra skill points and potions even in a new season character. Is this a bug?” asks Reddit user DatBoiWithAToi. Luckily, it is not a bug! Namely, what you need to do is to log in with any of your previous characters. Starting from July 18th update, you simply need to log into the game only once with an Eternal Realm character. Once you do so, restart the game, and log in with your seasonal character! And you will have your renown transferred to Seasonal Character in Diablo 4 Season 1!
However, keep in mind that that’s not all. Namely, even after this procedure, you will still need to go to the map screen and manually claim rewards for each region on the seasonal character! And that’s it! You have successfully transferred all the rewards to your seasonal character. If you have any questions, write them in the comments section!
