The Assassin’s Festival starts on August 31st, and it will last until January 31st, 2018. For the duration of the event, players will be able to enjoy new gameplay elements, as an homage to the Assassin’s Creed series. This includes climbing on high buildings from where you can synchronize with your surroundings, followed by jumping onto a pile of hay. Players will also get to enjoy stealth kills with a hidden blade, AC’s typical parkour, hiding and more.

The festival will take place in Lestallum. It will feature new mini-games like Chocobo races, Cactuar fights, boss fights with Noctis’s companions and more. We’ll also get to see some old friends like Cindy Aurum (head mechanic of the Hammerhead garage), Loqi Tummelt (brigadier general of the Niflheim army) and Holly (the power plant lady).

The tales of a mythical hero who fought to resist the shackles of oppression date back generations in Lestallum, where a festival is held in honor of the lore.

Beside the fun factor, participating in the festival will yield rewards like exclusive outfits. This includes, and is probably limited to:

  • Medjay Assassin’s Robes for Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto. There is a preview of these outfits in the trailer. The crew really looks good in them. Since Noct is the prince, he gets one more piece of attire.
  • Master Assassin’s Robes for Noctis, obtainable via the Dream Egg, a special Moogle Chocobo Carnival item. There is one more month left to acquire it, so be hasty or you’ll miss it.

Presenting precise and clear guidelines that readers can easily comprehend is the goal he strives for. That being the case, please excuse the numerous lists and tables in his articles.
