Genshin Impact Medaka Fish Location

There are a number of different Medaka fish locations in Genshin Impact that you can visit. In Liyue, there are about three or so fishing spots that you can find Medaka in, and about four or five in Mondstadt, including around Stormterror’s Lair and in the areas east of the town. Check out our screenshots below to see where these places are. If it should so happen that we’ve missed any Medaka locations, let us know in the comments below. These are just the bodies of water we’ve found them in.

Now, a few tips on Medaka and how to catch them. For one, you can see what they look like in the image up top. They’re a reddish-orange color, and kinda look like clownfish. If you arrive at any given fishing spot, look at the fish swimming around. If you don’t see a Medaka, keep going. That’s the easiest way to determine Genshin Impact Medaka locations at a glance. Catching them doesn’t really require any special fishing pole, however, using the Fruit Paste Bait is a good idea. When you cast the line, make sure to not hit the water too close to the fish. Otherwise, they’ll get scared and swim around in panicked circles. If that happens, you’ll have to cast again.

That’s all about all there is to it when it comes to the Medaka Fish in Genshin Impact.
