The release date and time of Genshin Impact Update 1.1 has been a matter of interest among players in the recent weeks, ever since it was first announced. Well, of course it is, considering all the new content that it will bring. This includes new characters, quests, weapons, events, and much, much more. So, without further ado, allow me to present to you the Genshin Impact Update 1.1 release date and time.
Launch Date & Time Genshin Impact Update 1.1
The launch date and time of Genshin Impact Update 1.1 will depend somewhat on your location, or rather, your time zone. According to the official blog post, the server downtime will start on November 11th at 06AM UTC+8. That translates, I’m pretty sure, to November 10th at 11PM Central European / 5PM Eastern Time / 2PM Pacific Time. I’m fairly confident I did the math correctly here, but feel free to correct me below.
Anyways, the downtime should last around five hours, ending on November 11th at 4AM Central European, aka November 10th at 10PM Eastern Time / 7PM Pacific time. That’s just a general window, of course, and the times may vary. You might experience some disruption even after the expected time slot. The best part about this is that the developers will give all players 60 Primogems for every hour that the servers are down, totaling at 300. And yes, even if they finish earlier, you’ll still get the full amount.
When it comes to that compensation, though, there is a catch. Only Travelers that reach Adventure Rank 5 or above before the update starts will be eligible to receive those 300 Primogem. So, if you’re super-new to the game, you only have a few precious hours to grind your way up. Those that meet the criteria will receive the Primogem bundle via in-game mail five hours after the updating process wraps up. From that point, you have thirty days to pick it up before it expires.
