Classes in Ghost Recon Breakpoint – Sharpshooter, Panther, Medic, Assault

We’re going to start with the Assault class in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This is your run-and-gun class, kinda sorta like a tank-ish kinda situation. Their class technique is True Grit. It grants you recoil reduction and damage resistance; plus, kills heal you and extend duration. The class item is the Gas Grenade, which works as an area control device that deals damage over time. When it comes to class proficiencies, one grants you extra health, and another grants bonuses with Assault Rifles and Shotguns.

Next up, the Sharpshooter class, aka the Sniper, aka the sneaky that ends you from a mile away. They have the class technique Armor Buster, which lets them load their magazine with high-penetration bullets that deal bonus damage and grant more muzzle velocity. Their class item is pretty cool: the Sensor Launcher, which marks enemies in a wide area, allowing you to position yourself for optimal mayhem more easily. As for the class proficiencies, there’s one that lets you hold your breath for longer while aiming for precision, and one that grants bonuses with, what else, sniper rifles and DMR.

Now for the Field Medic. It says it all on the tin right there – this class lets you heal and revive other people and yourself. The class technique is Healing Drone, which, quite simply, heals and revives friendly teammates. The class item is a medkit; a hand-deployable device that heals injuries and even grant extra health. All the proficiencies are made to match: they grant you faster reviving, carrying bodies faster, and even the ability to self-revive.

Class number four is the awesomely-named Panther; the ninja, the Batman, the shadow that quietly slits throats. They’re really cool. Starting with their class technique, called Cloak & Run. It lets you disappear behind a smoke screen, and get out of trouble. Their special item is a Cloaking Spray that you use on yourself, and, once applies, hides you from drones. The proficiencies you can get grant you bonus stealth, faster movement speed, and there’s one that eliminates reduced damage from suppressors on Handguns and Submachine Guns.

These are the four Ghost Recon Breakpoint classes that are in the game at the time of writing this article. There are going to be three more added over time, so tune back into this guide once they launch for further info.
