How to Open Gwerm Mansion Locked Door Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

You will meet the haughty Horgues Gwerm in the Mongrelmen Village, the same place where either Lann or Wenduag will leave you. He will pay you to take him up to the surface. Later on, you will meet him once more in the Defender’s Heart Inn, and he will ask for your assistance again. His Mansion has been overrun and he needs someone to clear it. This location will be marked on your map, so go there at your earliest convenience. You will need to bring one of your companions along: Camellia. This romanceable character has a special connection to this place, as you will soon learn.

On the second floor, you will see encounter this locked door. The description for it states: “The door is locked by some unusual or magical means – there is no lock to be seen.” Meaning – you cannot pick the lock. In fact, you will not be able to enter here at all at this point, at least using ordinary means. What you can do is to purchase two scrolls of Dimension Door – portal in, loot the room, and then portal out. However, note that this isn’t intended and that you can cause some quest or character-related scripts to break. In this room, there is a DC 35 Perception check. If you pass it, you will be able to get the Voracious Spirit amulet. You will visit the Gwerm Mansion again in a later chapter during another quest, and you will be able to unlock the door normally then.
