How to Beat Mafia Definitive Edition Race Mission – Tips & Tricks

To beat the race mission in Mafia Definitive Edition, there are several things you’ll have to keep in mind. The first and probably most valuable tip is to use the Ram button when turning corners. This makes things significantly easier. Second, try not to slow down too much whenever you can help it. If you have to break to make a corner, use the regular brake, not the handbrake (S on PC instead of Space). Third, when exiting corners, don’t immediately gun it. Use less throttle instead.

Other than that, we can only recommend trying to switch to a controller if you’re playing on mouse and keyboard. Apparently, this has helped some people significantly. You’re kinda on your own from there. Ram other contestants when you have the chance, and remember that risky driving does get rewarded, but only if the risk is calculated. Oh, and also, you basically have to be perfect throughout the whole race. If at first you don’t succeed, try and try and try and try again. It’ll very likely take you several gos. There’s a reason people detested this mission back in the day, and still do. Good luck.
