Mass Effect: Andromeda Funko Figurines Featuring Jaal, Sara, Peebe & More

With the release date approaching fast, and the media train hyping up, more and more merchandise is popping up. If you are fan of figurines, especially the vinyl ones from Funko, you are in for a treat. The company announced the release of eight Andromeda-based character toys.

They were revealed on the official Funko page. You can find out more there.

You’ll be able to buy eight toys, featuring five important in-game characters. We can hope that this is not the final list and we keep getting new items. The list of figurines for now is:

  • Sara Ryder
  • Sara Ryder (masked)
  • Sara Ryder (N7)
  • Peebee
  • Peebee (with gun)
  • Liam Kosta
  • Jaal
  • The Archon

For me, the most important revelation is the name Jaal. Jaal is the member of the new race revealed in the Cinematic trailer #2. Apparently, we’d be right in saying that Jaal’s role is more essential than we thought.

The figurine of Liam Kosta looks rather decent with the Omni-Blade, the same one you can get as a 1:1 replica. Although we can see Kett Archon as one of the main villains in the newest trailer, he doesn’t look that scary here.

Some of the toys will only be sold at the specific stores. These are the toys that have something characteristic to them, different from their originals. For example, you’ll only be able to buy Masked Sara Ryder that comes with the helmet at GameStop. Sara Ryder with the N7 uniform will be available at Best Buy, and Peebee with a gun at Target.

The price of the toys may vary, but you can expect them to cost around $10. You can also expect to become available in March.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is the newest game in the franchise. It is a completely new story. If you are new player to Mass Effect waters, you won’t feel excluded for not playing the previous games. Andromeda is coming out on March 21st in North America and March 23rd in Europe, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
