How to Get & Farm Repair Parts in New World

To get and farm New World Repair Parts, all you need to do is salvage items that you have in your inventory and don’t need. In fact, that is the only way to obtain Repair Parts in the game. To salvage items, just open your inventory, hold S, and click on the item you wish to get rid of. You’ll get a little popup that shows you how many parts it will grant you, as well as any potential resources. You can hold a maximum of two thousand Repair Parts. If you salvage items when you hit the cap, you’ll just get the resources.

Now that you have some parts to do repairs, how exactly do you use them? Well, you have two options. The first one is to click the Repair All button at the bottom of the inventory screen, then confirm in the popup window. Alternatively, you can hold R and select a single item to repair just that one. Now that we know how to get and farm Repair Parts in New World, as well as how to use them, there’s one more important thing to mention – repairing equipment also requires Gold. So, make sure to always have enough of both to fix your stuff on the fly.

That’s all there is to it, basically. If you need help with something else in the game, check out some of our other New World guides. We’ve got articles like Milk – Where to Find Cows, Rivercress Stem Locations, Tuning Orbs – Amrine Expedition Keys, and many more.
