Where to Find Shiny Stones in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

The Shiny Stones are one type of Evolution Stone included in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. You need it for the specific evolution of two Pokemon. It can turn Roselia into Roserade and also evolve Togetic into Togekiss. You can view our guide on evolving into Roserade here.

One way to get a Shiny Stone is in the Spacious Cave. This is underground in the Battle Zone location. It will be in the top right room as you enter, toward the back.

The Iron Island also has an area to get a Shiny Stone.  Once again, you need to be underground. As you ascend one of the elevators, a Pokeball will be on the right-hand side. This will contain a Shiny Stone.

The last location is on Route 228. As you head through the sandy, desert maze, a Pokeball is on a high ledge. You will need to cycle up a ramp and across a balance beam. This should get you the stone you desire.

Finally, you can hope to get one if you have a pickup ability on one of your Pokemon. When you walk with it in the game, you have the chance to bag a held item. This does have a random element, and you could end up with any type of item. It does not mean you will get a Shiny Stone, but you may get something else of use instead. The guide below from the4thGenGamer can show you the exact locations.
