Cyndaquil Evolution to Quilava and Hisuian Typhlosion in Pokemon Legends Arceus

The evolution of Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends Arceus to Quilava and Hisuian Typhlosion is a fairly simple process. All you have to do is keep it in the party for it to earn a steady stream of XP. It’ll be even better if you use it in combat, of course. Either way, Cyndaquil can evolve into Quilava when it reaches level 17. You do still have to manually trigger the evolution like the game taught you. Select the Pokemon from the menu, then click “Evolve.” Confirm your selection, and of we go. When the Quilava reaches level 36, you can then evolve it into Typhlosion using the same system. That’s it, that’s all there is to it. There are no other requirements.

How to Get Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends Arceus

To get Cyndaquil in Pokemon Legends Arceus for later evolution to Hisuian Typhlosion, there are three things you can do. The first one is to select it as a starter Pokemon at the beginning of the game. A lot of you are not gonna do that, of course, so lets get into the other two options. For one, you can go into every space-time distortion you come across. These can spawn all sorts of rare Pokemon, including Cyndaquil, Oshawott, Johto Sneasel, and others. These encounters are random, so there’s no guarantee what you’ll get. The surefire way is to complete the main story, then talk to professor Laventon in Galaxy Hall. He’ll give you both starter Pokemon that you didn’t choose. For more detailed info, check out our How to Get Starter Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus guide.
