How to Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon in Pokemon Legends Arceus

To evolve Eevee into Sylveon in Pokemon Legends Arceus, you first need to max out your friendship with it. You do this by keeping it in your party, using it in battle and exploration, feeding it Candy, all that good stuff. That much hasn’t changed in Arceus. You can check the current friendship level with any Pokemon by talking to Belamy in Jubilife Village (more info in our Check Friendship Level Pokemon Legends Arceus guide). In this case, though, you can kinda do it on the fly – if you hover the Eevee and it says it’s ready to evolve, well, it’s ready to evolve. You don’t have to keep going back to Jubilife Village every hour. That’s the first step of the process, but it’s also the majority of the work.

The next order of business to evolve Eevee into Sylveon in Pokemon Legends Arceus is to make sure it knows a Fairy-type move. It can learn Baby-Doll Eyes when it reaches level 18, so be sure to equip it. If you don’t you’ll get a completely different Pokemon, as I’ll explain in a moment. With all of that out of the way, level the prepped Eevee up, and it should turn into Sylveon if you’ve done everything right. If not, well, you’ll probably end up with either Espeon or Umbreon, depending on the time of day, and you’ll have to start over. While we’re on the subject, quick sidetrack: you get Espeon by maxing out the friendship and removing any Fairy-type moves, then leveling the Eevee during the day. Same for Umbreon, but it has to be nighttime.
