How to Get Bottle Caps in Pokemon Sword & Shield?

To get Bottle Caps in Pokemon Sword & Shield, there are three avenues to pursue. And, given that they’re pretty rare, you might wanna go for all three alternatives intermittently. The first way to earn Bottle Caps is by playing the Max Raid Battles. There’s a small chance that you’ll get one as a reward. The second is to have a Pokemon in your party that has the Pickup ability. Pokemon that have this “skill” can find hidden stuff as you explore the world, and Bottle Caps are among said stuff. Lastly, you can pay 500 Watts to the Digging Duo in Bridge Field (pictured below) and hope that they unearth some. None of these methods guarantee success on the first try, but you’ll earn some Bottle Caps eventually by being persistent.

How to Use Pokemon Sword & Shield Bottle Caps?

to use the Bottle Caps in Pokemon Sword & Shield, make your way to the Battle Tower in Wyndon. As you might know by now, you have to beat the game’s main story in order to unlock access to the Tower. Anyways, go into the tower and go to the counter on the right-hand side of the lobby. Talk to the League member standing behind the counter. Long story short, he can max out any one IV of your Pokemon through Hyper Training.

Note that this is not necessary to do unless you’re really gearing up to go really far into the ranks of the Battle Tower. If that’s not your cup of tea, you can safely sell the Bottle Caps off, if you happen upon them. If, on the other hand, you do want to be in the upper echelons of the Battle Tower, do not, under any circumstances, sell the Bottle Caps. They’re really precious and rare.
