RE: 7 Biohazard Demo: Beginning Hour is now available for free for all players on PC. If you are a fan of horror games, or just a fan of Resident Evil games, and you have a PC as a main gaming platform, you can enjoy this demo for free. If you’ve been following the news about Resident Evil 7, you probably already knew this, as it was announced earlier this month.
The demo was released on PlayStation 4 in June this year. The full game will also be available on PlayStation VR and on the PS4 Pro as well. XBOX One users have been able to play the demo for a couple of weeks now, and the time has come for PC users.
You can find the demo on its Steam official page. At the time of writing, the overall customer reviews are very positive. This page also shows the minimum and recommended system requirements. If you are wondering whether your PC can handle it, or whether you’ll like the game, you should check it out during the upcoming holidays.
There is more to the demo than just simply going through it. By uncovering all its secrets, you’ll gain a coin that has a purpose later on, when you play the full game. It is said that the coin can be transferred to the full game. It’s still unknown whether it will have a deep impact on the experience once it is out. If you want to be prepared and find all the secrets, you can visit our guide on this subject: Resident Evil 7 Demo Secrets – Beginning Hour.
The setting for this demo is an abandoned farmhouse. You wake up there alone, while daylight is quickly fading. You’ll have to find your way out. It is being touted as “a thrilling horror experience for the five senses”.
The full version of Resident Evil 7 will be released on January 24th, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
