Otto’s Lab Journal #2 Location – Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4

Otto’s Lab Journal #2 in Spider-Man on the PS4 is, surprisingly, right where you’d expect it to be, in Doctor Octavius’s laboratory. The confusion stems from the fact that players can find Lab Journals #1, #3, #4 etc. way earlier in the game. So, a lot of people have been combing through the whole game, trying to find the second one. Some people have even completely given up, believing that the audio log just doesn’t exist, due to a glitch or some other mistake. That’s not the case at all. You just have to be patient.

Now, I’m going to try and make this as spoiler-free as possible, but just in case, this is your warning; there might be slight spoilers incoming. If you don’t want to read on, just know that you will find Otto’s Lab Journal #2, just keep playing. Still here? Let’s go. The second audio log in the Otto’s Lab Journal pops up during the story mission Strong Connections. This mission is well into the second half of the story. The mission will take you to the lab. After you complete the Circuit puzzles and the cutscene plays out, you have free roam of the lab. The marker will take you into a room, telling you to look at a magazine. The audio log is in the same room, in the far left corner, on a blue chest of drawers next to the desk. The game will alert you to its presence with a marker.

Now that you have Otto’s Lab Journal #2, you’ll get a more complete picture of what’s going on, and you’ll understand why the devs kept it hidden so far. If you’re a fan of Spider-Man, you probably have some idea of what’s brewing, but that’s all I’m going to say. Discover it for yourself.
