How to Recruit People Who Dislike DedSec in Watch Dogs Legion?

To recruit people who dislike DedSec in Watch Dogs Legion, you first have to unlock the Deep Profiler tech skill. This will let you find out more about people you’re trying to add into your team. Once you have that, go find the person you want to recruit that has the little red thumbs-down indicating they hate DedSec. Save them into Potential Recruits and hover over them in the Team menu. From there, press Triangle or Y or whatever it is on the PC to Deep Profile them. This will show you their schedule and investigation leads. That’s what you need.

Pick any investigation lead from the list. Mark it on the map for easier navigation, and head straight for it. When you arrive there, complete whatever mission awaits you. Incidentally, this is a pretty handy way to change in-game time in Watch Dogs Legion. After you complete the task that the investigation lead gives you, the person will become more friendly towards DedSec. So, go back to them and proceed with recruitment as normal. It sounds like a pain, but these operatives often have really good weapons and / or skills. The example above is arguably an exception to the rule.

So, there you go, that’s how you recruit people who dislike DedSec in Watch Dogs Legion. If you want more info on how to manage your team, we have a few other guides on the subject. For example, we’ve written Permadeath & DLC Prestige Operatives, Equip Different Weapons, Guns on Operatives, and Dismiss Recruits – Remove Operatives Without Permanent Death.
