This quest is available if you’ve completed the Stranger in a Strange Land secondary quest and used Simun to escape from the prison.
Go to Kaer Trolde and visit the New Port Inn where you’ll find Simun Brambling. He has some business that needs to be done and needs you to accompany him. You’re supposed to meet him by a hut on a lake close to the village of Blandare. You can refuse, but the quest will then end.

Walkthrough
Following contains quest spoilers. You’ve been warned
Meet with Simun in the hut by the lake.
The lake is between Rannvaig and Blandare, and the hut is on its eastern shore. When you get there, you’ll learn that you’re supposed to kill a man named Volund. Both men will tell you that the other one is wrong, so you’ll have to make a choice.
Choice 1
Refuse to kill Volund.
If you tell Simun that you don’t want to kill Volund, he will attack you since you didn’t repay your debt to him. Kill Simun, then speak to Volund to end the quest.
Choice 2
Kill Volund.
Tell Volund that it’s nothing personal, then attack and kill him. This is an easy fight. Speak with Simun afterwards to end the quest.
