Hearts of Stone Expansion Release Date | The Witcher 3

CD Projekt RED have released a trailer for Hearts of Stone, the first expansion for The Witcher 3. Along with the video, they’ve announced the release date. The add-on is going to hit the shelves on October 13th.

The trailer is dissapointingly short, as these things usually are, but it features some surprisingly well clothed soldiers. And Geralt’s in prison! Some guy wants to help him, but then throws something at him, so Geralt’s face starts glowing. I couldn’t possibly tell what it was all about, but one thing’s for sure – we’re getting more Witcher stuff. According to the press release, Geralt will be hunting an immortal bandit chief. Here’s some stuff we can expect:
The expansion lets you choose your own way through an adventure that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost and outsmarting the most bizarre creatures Geralt has ever faced.
The $20 expansion will offer about 10 hours of content (whatever that means), new characters, monsters and romances. There will also be a system of Runewords which will affect the gameplay mechanics in different ways.
