Senior level designer Peter Gelencser did the voiceover for the gameplay trailer, explaining every phase of the task.

The quest starts when a villager asks Geralt for help with finding out what happened to some of his friends while escorting a merchant caravan. He travels by horse, which is one of the faster means of transportation, and can be called upon from anywhere by whistling. It turns out the caravan was attacked by a Royal Wyvern – Geralt uses his Witcher sense to uncover clues to what happened and find possible survivors. After he’s found them, it’s time for a duel with the otherworldly.

The battle requires preparation – not much, but using an ointment to improve the efficiency of a blade at least. It’s interesting to see the developer using a steel sword to fight the beast, when, up until now, silver swords were the standard for monster-slaying in the series.

The fight itself is short and to the point, with Geralt dodging artfully, using the Igni sign to burn the Wyvern and not being greedy with his attacks. After it’s done, he takes a trophy Gelencser says is worth quite a sum back in the village.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled to launch May 19th this year, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
