The only hint you have is that there’s a golden cat sitting over the Great Norse Hall, which isn’t much to go off of. How to Collect Cat’s Footfall in AC Valhalla Feline’s Footfall Quest – How to Solve Ivaldi’s Riddle
To solve Ivaldi’s riddle and collect a cat’s footfall in the Feline’s Footfall quest in AC Valhalla, you first need to consult the note that you got. Here’s what it says:
Over the gate to the Great Norse Hall,
A golden cat sits patiently,
Gazing upon many tall towers,
She’ll flee when she is found,
But follow without fear.
Look, leap, and descend,
Once she leads you to the end,
She may ghost to the ground,
Land as well, and swiftly steal her sound.
So, that tells us that we have to look at the very top of the gates of Asgard to find this kitty-cat. Track the quest and clamber up above the gates. You’ll see a golden cat perched atop one of the columns, as we show in the screenshots.
Approach the cat, and it will vanish, reappearing on the column below. Follow it. The next stop is the flat rock below, then the base of the zip-line. It will then move to the middle of the zip-line, so it’s obvious what you should do. It will reappear below you as you ride the line, then on top of one of the columns behind you. Climb up there, and the cat will jump over to the ornate helmet-looking thing to the right. When you reach it there, it will teleport to the gargoyle in front of you. Go there, and it will disappear. Jump into the leaves below, and the Cat’s Footfall will automatically appear in your inventory.
