Your horse is a great tool and trusted friend in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’ll help you reach distant lands more quickly, escape trouble and more. The best thing about it is that you can customize it, or even change it for another if you don’t like it. If you’re wondering how to change mount in AC Valhalla, this guide will show you the way.
How to change mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
In order to change your mount, all you need to do is visit a stable. Look for a galloping horse icon on the map. There might be one in your settlement, depending on how much you’ve upgraded it, but there’s one in almost every big town, like Grantebridge or Lunden.
Talk to the stablehand, and choose the option to view their stock. You’ll see a page with two sections – the first are the mounts you own, the second are the ones you can buy from that stable. If you have the wolf mount from the Berserker preorder bonus pack, you can get it here as well.
The different horses don’t have different stats, so you don’t have to worry about which one is the fastest, or which one has the most stamina. You can influence these using the training option at the stable in your village, and the benefits will transfer between horses. Think of them as different skins for the same horse, basically. They change the way your mount looks, but not the way it acts.
You can change the way your bird companion looks the same way. There’s an aviary attached to every stable, not just the one in Ravensthorpe. The same thing about skills and stats goes here too – the albino raven is still your original raven, only with a new coat of paint.
