They add around 50% more absorption for the appropriate kind of damage. You can find the flame one early on in the game, while the dark and thunder ones are in the second half. This guide will show you where to find Stoneplate Rings in Dark Souls 3, what they looks like and their stats.

Flame Stoneplate Ring

Area: Undead Settlement
The Closest Bonfire: Undead Settlement

  1. Head to the nearby house from the bonfire and leave through the other side.
  2. Find a wooden bridge and walk across it. As soon as you do it, turn immediately right and look for a hidden path.
  3. Follow it until you come to the houses. Climb on top of them using the ladder.
  4. Use the rooftops to reach the platform on the other side. At the end of this platform you’ll find a body hanging from a tree. You have to carefully bring it down, so it doesn’t fall off the cliff. The item that this body holds is the Flame Stoneplate Ring.

  2. Once there, you’ll have to defeat the first boss – Ancient Wyvern. Defeating it will teleport you to the Dragon-Kin Mausoleum bonfire.
  3. From the bonfire, climb to the second floor using the nearby stairs and go forward keeping to your right.
  4. After a long hallway, there should be a wooden ladder on your right. Use it to reach the top level. This is where you can find the Thunder Stoneplate Ring.
