Elden Ring Pot Boy Location

The Elden Ring Pot Boy location is the place where you can find one of the more curious NPCs in the game, Alexander Iron Fist. He’s a (seemingly) friendly sentient pot with arms who’s stuck in the ground. He needs your help to get out. Needless to say, Alexander has immediately piqued the curiosity of the player base, who lovingly named him pot boy. So, in this guide, we’ll show you where to find Pot Boy and how to help him.

Where to Find Pot Boy in Elden Ring

To find the pot boy in Elden Ring, aka Alexander Iron Fist, you need to go to the east of Limgrave. We’ve marked the exact location for you in the screenshots below. Basically, as you ride through the canyon, you’ll hear Alexander calling for help. If you’re riding from the west to the east, keep an eye out to the right. You’ll see a path leading up just before you get to the bridge. Climb up this path, and you’ll come across poor pot boy stuck in the ground. Talk to him and agree to help, then wallop on him from the back with a heavy two-handed weapon. This will help get him unstuck and grant you the Triumphant Delight emote. Speak with Alexander again to get one Exalted Flesh.

So, that’s where you find pot boy in Elden Ring, or Alexander Iron Fist, as he’s actually known. And, yes, he’s an actual big pot with stubby legs and long arms. We don’t yet know what happens to him later in the game, once you help him from the ground. There’s some speculation among the fan base that he might be the new Patches, or maybe Siegmeyer of Catarina. We can’t either confirm or deny his future role at the time of writing; we’ll update the guide once we know more. One thing I do know for sure; he’s absolutely adorable. Feel free to share your experiences with Alexander the pot boy in the comments below.

Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
