No Promises or Not Happening in Jessie Dialogue in FFVII Remake – What to Choose?

Whatever you choose in this bit of dialogue with Jessie, No promises or Not happening, ultimately won’t have any consequences whatsoever, as far as we can tell. That date is just not meant to be; a little while after the talk happens, things are going to dive from bad to worse real fast, and dating will be the last thing on anybody’s mind. So, yeah, feel free to pick whatever choice better expresses the way you feel about Jessie. It’s more of a roleplaying moment than anything else.

Here’s the basic gist of it: if you choose No promises, Jessie becomes very excited. She really sees this as a guarantee of a date with you. So, if you want to treat her gently, this is the option to go with. If, on the other hand, you select Not happening, it’s kinda like pouring a bucket of cold water on a puppy. And, to be fair, I can see why Cloud might act this way. He clearly just isn’t interested in Jessie, and she can’t take a hint. But, as we’ve said above, what you choose is up to you, and won’t have much effect on the rest of the plot.

And, well, that’s about all there is to this dialogue choice with Jessie in the remake of Final Fantasy VII.
