The Peculiar Pinion is a feather gadget that has been introduced to Genshin Impact 2.2. It functions similarly to the Memento Lens in that using it at certain spots will also reveal hidden things that weren’t there before. This will allow you to solve puzzles and unlock the way to new areas you couldn’t access before. How to Get the Peculiar Pinion
To be able to get this feather gadget, you will have needed to complete the entire Seirai Stormchasers questchain. After that, first complete the “A Particularly Particular Author” quest. If you are having problems with that quest, we have a separate guide on how to do it. The next step is to do the “Octave of the Maushiro” quest. This starts on the next server reset after you have completed the “A Particularly Particular Author” quest. It will take you to Tsurumi Island. Once there, speak with Ruu. After the conversation is over, you will receive the Peculiar Pinion.
How to Use the Peculiar Pinion
The Peculiar Pinion is a gadget type and it is used like most other gadgets. Go into your gadgets tab in your inventory and select it to equip it. When you are near a carving of a Thunderbird (these birds look like owls), interact with these and you will produce an effect of some sort, such as revealing ghosts or hidden passageways. The carvings can be statues or wall paintings and you will need to interact with these in order to solve puzzles and get stone slates.
