Hangout Events - Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact Hangout events are new quests that the developers are adding to the game in Update 1.4, along with a bunch of other new content. Basically, they are side quests with different characters; this batch includes Barbara, Noelle, Chongyun, and Bennett. In this article, we’re going to be discussing the details of these events, as well as explaining how they work to newer and less-experienced players.
Genshin Impact Hangout Events
Hangout events in Genshin Impact are story quests that you’ll be able to play after Update 1.4 launches, and they will be permanently available from then on. To be more specific, these hangout quests are for Barbara, Noelle, Chongyun, and Bennett. Of course, this is only for those of you that have met the Adventure Rank criteria, and has completed the quest that lets you acquire Story Keys. Yes, The Hangout events are the type of quest that require Story Keys in order to play; two keys per quest, to be exact.
If you’re not there yet, don’t worry; the quests won’t go away, you have all the time you need. For those of you that aren’t yet at the point where you can get the Keys, let me explain how it works. First off, you have to reach Adventure Rank 26 or above and complete the Archon Quest “Prologue: Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom.” After that, you can earn Story Keys by completing Daily Commissions; the game rewards you with one Story Key per eight completed Commissions. It’s absolutely a grind, but, well, that’s just the nature of the beast.
Each of the hangout events has several different endings, and you can unlock all of them to get various rewards. Plus, there’s hidden achievements that you can earn. You can find them in our guides; we’ll be covering the other two shortly.
