Guardians of the Galaxy Escape Foggy Cave

Escape the foggy cave in Guardians of the Galaxy is a puzzle you’ll have to solve in order to complete Chapter 10 of the game. At one point, you’ll come across a room full of fog with two different tunnels covered in yet more mist. You then have a choice of agreeing either with Gamora or Rocket, or saying nothing. If you don’t make the right choice, you’ll keep looping back to the same room over and over again. So, what exactly are you supposed to do to get out? Well, that’s what we’ll be showing you in this guide.

How to Escape Foggy Cave Guardians of the Galaxy

To escape the foggy cave in Guardians of the Galaxy, you have to do… nothing. Yes, you heard me: nothing. When you get to the spot with two foggy tunnels, both Gamora and Rocket will say that they hear different things. If you agree with Gamora, that thing she heard will manifest itself. Same goes if you side with Rocket instead. You then fight, and the tunnel on the right will open up, leading you to the same room. This will continue forever if you keep agreeing with either of your teammates.

So, what you have to do instead is to pick the third option, the one at the bottom that just reads (…). It’s Circle on the PlayStation. If you do that, well, nothing is going to manifest. After a while, the left tunnel is going to open up. Well, both will, but you’re supposed to go down the left one to escape the foggy cave in Guardians of the Galaxy. This leads you into another fight which I won’t spoil; I’ll just give you one quick hint – Rocket has to go into two holes in the cave walls, which you can see glowing yellow with your visor scanner on. Good luck.

That’s all there is to it. Sometimes, not playing is the only winning move.
