How to Get Black Bass in Nier Replicant – Best Bait to Catch Black Bass in Fisherman’s Gambit Part 5 Quest

To get black bass for the Nier Replicant Fisherman’s Gambit Part 5 quest, you can use a normal lure to catch them. Be sure to buy a few from the tackle shop in Seafront before you head forward. The bigger problem here is where to find the black bass. Well, as it turns out, you’ll have to trek all the way back to your village. As you’ve probably noticed by now, there’s a large pond in the vicinity of the village. On the east bank of the pond, there’s a small beach that you can fish from. That’s where you can get black bass.

Now, catching five black bass for Fisherman’s Gambit Part 5 seems like a daunting task. They are very sturdy; it takes a few seconds to completely drain their health, even if you know exactly where the sweet spot is. You’re moving up in the fishing world; we’re not dealing with small fry like sardines now. That said, it seems that Nier Replicant black bass are the only fish you can catch in this pond by using nothing more than the basic lure. So, while it may take a few practice tries, there won’t be any trash fish polluting your pool.

After you get five black bass, go back to the Seafront pier and talk to the old man to complete Fisherman’s Gambit Part 5. This unlocks the next step of your fishing journey. That’s right, you’re still not even near the end. However, you will get a boost to your fishing skill, which will allow you to catch fish that you previously couldn’t, such as the shark.
