How to Build Bed & Sleep in Base in Sons of the Forest

To make or build a bed and sleep in your base in Sons of the Forest, you need sixteen sticks and one roll of duct tape. These are all fairly easy to come buy. Sticks are all over the place, and if you can’t find any, just cut down one of the many thin tree saplings. As for the duct tape, explore the area where you began the game thoroughly, and you’re bound to find several rolls. Plus, they can be found in various containers all over the island, both above and under the ground. Once you have everything you need, open your inventory. Place sixteen sticks and the duct tape into the crafting area and click the cog. Boom, you now have a stick bed.

So, now that you know how to make a bed in Sons of the Forest, you can build it and place it anywhere in your base and sleep. It doesn’t even have to be under a roof; you can place it anywhere in the open, if you so choose. Or you can just stick to the basic tent, whatever tickles your fancy. The bed also allows you to both sleep and save your game, by the way. Even though it’s made of sticks, it does still probably beat sleeping on the ground under a tarp. That’s about all there is to it. If you need help with something else, check out our other Sons of the Forest guides, like How to Make Stairs and How to Revive Kelvin.
