If you find yourself in Kaer Trolde Harbor, look for a merchant named Johann Bohner, dressed in fine clothes. He will tell you that his ship was wrecked and ask you to give him a loan of 150 Crowns. You’ll have two options.
Choice 1
Give him the money.
When you visit the harbor the next time, you’ll see him leaving the area. He will not remember your loan. You can decide to turn him in, in which case you will have to fight and kill him, then take your money from his corpse; or you can trust him and let him go.
Visit Fyresdal village the next time you have the chance, and he will give you back your money, with interest. The quest will then come to an end.
