DMZ Look Out Ashika IR Beacon Location

The DMZ Look Out mission requires you to take the IR Beacon from its location on the rocks off the northern coast of Ashika Island. Neat, but the northern coast of Ashika Island is really, really long. Well, you’re actually supposed to swim to the island in the northwest of the map, at the very edge. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, take a look at our screenshots below. The IR Beacon itself will be on the western corner of the island. Pick it up and return to the “mainland.” There will most likely be a boat tied to the rocks, but if not, better be ready to swim back. Beware of all the other players, of course. Also, the rocks are very janky and you can easily get stuck on them. Be careful.

And there you go, that’s where you find the location of the IR Beacon left on the rocks off the northern coast of Ashika Island in the DMZ Look Out mission. Once you have the thing, you have to go to Ashika Castle and clamber all the way to the tallest roof, the one with the big flag. Plant the beacon there to complete the mission. That about does it for this guide.
