Destiny 2 Athena Victorious Exclusive Sparrow Virgin Fibre Promo Leaked
Destiny 2 Athena Victoruius exclusive sparrow is a yet-unannounced promo deal with Virgin Fibre, according to a press leak. To get it, you’ll have to be a Virgin Fibre customer in the UK and redeem it on the Virgin website. So far, it’s unclear if Guardians will be able to get it by simply playing Destiny 2.
Getting exclusive Athena Victorious sparrow through Virgin
Destiny 2 will reportedly offer an exclusive sparrow, Athena Victorious, as a promo deal with Virgin Media. According to a press leak, courtesy of YouTuber MoreConsole, Destiny 2 players from the UK will be able to get their hands on the exclusive sparrow… if they also use Virgin Fibre, the service that offers digital TV, mobile service, and so on. The leaked press announcement goes on to say that those who want to take advantage of this offer will have to redeem their sparrow by entering their account details on Virgin Media’s website (link currently doesn’t work). The time window is from September 6th to December 13th, 2017, and you’ll be able to use the promotion on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Now, the leaked press release makes no mention of the Athena Victorious sparrow becoming available for all Guardians at some point. The promotion cut-off date might point to that direction, but we can only speculate at this point. The fine print does say that it will be available for UK Virgin Media Home Internet customers only; one sparrow code per customer, redeemable by the main account holder only.” That sounds a bit grim for the rest of us, but we’ll see.
What we can say for sure, though, is that the vehicle looks really slick in the provided images, emblazoned with the colors of Virgin Media. What it will be is “a single passenger all-terrain thrust bike with one purpose: moving from object to object with unmatched speed.” It sure seems like a sweet ride, and it will really suck for the rest of us if Athena Victorious stays exclusive to UK Virgin Fibre customers.
