How to Summon Friends in Elden Ring Co Op

To play with friends in Elden Ring co op, there are a few relatively minor hoops to jump through. First off, make sure to know each other’s Online ID. Next, head into Options, then System, then Network, and switch Display Player Names to Online ID. That way, you’ll always know exactly who you’re summoning or joining. Now, go into the Multiplayer menu end set up the Multiplayer Password and give it to your friend. The final step of the preparations is to set a meeting spot. We recommend using a site of grace, since they all have names and are easy to fast travel to.

With all of that set up, go to the location you’ve picked and use a Tarnished’s Furled Finger to set up a golden summon sign. Your friend then needs to interact with your summon sign and input the password you gave them earlier. If you’ve done everything correctly, you’ll be transported to their world, and you’re now free to play Elden Ring in co op together. When you’re done, either side can use the Finger Severer to send you back to your world.

How to Summon & Offer Help in Elden Ring

To summon and offer help and play Elden Ring in co op not just with friends, there are several things you can do. If you’re offering help, you can either use the Tarnished’s Furled Finger to leave a golden summon sign, or you can use the Small Golden Effigy to “send a cooperative summon sign to several nearby summoning pools” in activated pools only. Those are the crucifixion-like statues strewn across the world, which pool together a number of summon signs.

If, on the other hand, you need help, first use Furlcalling Finger Remedy to see cooperative and competitive multiplayer signs. Go for one of the golden ones, and interact with it to call for help. After you’re done with playing in co op, either side can use the Finger Severer, and the summonee will go back home.

The last matter in the Elden Ring co op are the Blue Cipher Ring and White Cipher Ring. The former puts you on hold to help people with invasions, while the latter lets you call for help during invasions. Oh, and if you just want to write and leave a message, use the Tarnished’s Wizened Finger. And that’s about all there is to it. If we’ve missed anything, let us know in the comments.
