Fallout 4 Support for PlayStation 4 Pro

People at Bethesda are really doubling down on Fallout 4 on the PS4. Players have received Fallout 4 mods for PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro in the 1.8 patch. While limited, this patch still allows them to go adventuring on their own terms.

Now we know that the next patch will have even more to look forward to. The long-awaited support for the PS4 Pro is on its way. This has been in the works for quite some time, even before the console release. Sony launched the Pro on November 10th, without any news on the support. Fallout fans were getting antsy, wondering whether or not the fourth installment would even get the support for the Pro. However, it’s finally on the horizon. According to the Twitter post, the PS4 Pro support is coming in the next title update. Even though the tweet is kind of vague, it’s still something to get excited about. Pretty soon you’ll be able to trek the post-apocalyptic wasteland on your new console. We don’t know when the update will go live, however. We might even be looking at another month’s wait. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as they release it.

Another point of interest is that Fallout 4 might not render at a native 4K resolution. This is interesting, considering that Skyrim: Special Edition does. Either way, you can look forward to enhanced lighting and graphical features, more details etc. Enjoy exploring the world of Fallout 4 on your PlayStation 4 Pro!
