Herb Crafting Recipes in RE3 Remake – How to Make Healing Items?

There are two healing items that you can craft using Herbs in the Resident Evil 3 Remake. If you combine two Green Herbs, you’ll get a Mixed Herb that heals a moderate amount of health, about 50% (a regular Green Herb restores around 25%). The game calls it High Potency Mixture. For a Mixed Herb that can heal you fully (Maximum Potency Mixture), you have to combine either three Green Herbs or one Green Herb and one Red Herb. So, once more:

  • High Potency Mixture (moderate health) – 2x Green Herb
  • Full Potency Mixture (full health) – 3x Green Herb OR Green Herb + Red Herb

The game tells you openly, if you find and read the U.B.C.S. Herb Field Manual, that there’s no crafting of First-Aid Spray, so treasure those and only spend them if absolutely necessary. Also, we haven’t run into any Blue Herbs in our first playthrough, so, for all we know, they’re not in the game anymore. If you’ve found Blue Herbs in the remake, let us know in the comments where you found them and what you crafted from them.

How to Craft Ammo in Resident Evil 3 Remake – Gunpowder & Explosive Recipes

To craft ammo in the Resident Evil 3 Remake, you need to have the appropriate gunpowders or explosives in order to make them. The more effective the ammo is, the rarer the ingredients will be, of course. Granted, it seems that Capcom have streamlined the process a little from the original. Well, significantly, actually. Here are the ammo crafting recipes we’ve dug up so far.

  • Handgun Ammo – 2x Gunpowder
  • Shotgun Ammo – Gunpowder + High-Grade Gunpowder
  • MAG Ammo – 2x High-Grade Gunpowder
  • Explosive Rounds – 2x Explosive A
  • Flame Rounds – Explosive A + Explosive B
  • Acid Rounds – 2x Explosive B

Even though the remake of Resident Evil 3 is a relatively short game, it’s pretty full of stuff. If we’ve missed some crafting recipes, let us know in the comments. Also, if you need more help with the game, check out some of the other guides we’ve put together. For example, we’ve got Green, Red, Blue Jewel Locations – Clock Tower Monument Puzzle, RE3 Lockpick Location, and Subway Train Route Puzzle Solution.
