If you just can’t wait until the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Multiplayer Beta, EA is giving you a reason to go back to the first game. Starting from July 13th, 9 AM UTC, and ending on July 16th, also at 9 AM UTC, you can earn double XP rewards in Star Wars Battlefront. The XP bonus applies across all game modes and maps. In other words, no matter which matches you choose to participate in, you’ll be getting that sweet, sweet extra XP.

The Star Wars Battlefront Double XP Weekend event was announced on the official Battlefront website. In the post, they encourage fans to get back into the game and earn the extra XP rewards. It reads:

Double XP is coming to Star Wars™ Battlefront™, giving you a great excuse to head back into the Battlefront! Earn twice the experience playing on all your favorite modes and maps, from Walker Assault battles on Hoth to Fighter Squadron attacks over Sullust.

So, there you have it. If you just can’t get enough of Battlefront, this is indeed a good reason to go back to the previous game and give it a spin. Or, as the post says: “So dust off your blaster and enjoy a weekend of intense multiplayer matches in a galaxy far, far away.”
