AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok Release Date

Ubisoft has announced the release date for a huge AC Valhalla expansion titled Dawn of Ragnarok. It has been described as the most ambitious expansion in the franchise’s history. Forgoing a small DLC, it will almost act like a brand-new game. Preordering also gets you access to a huge range of new skins and weapons. So far, the game will add an extra 35 hours of gameplay to Assassins Creed Valhalla. It will provide new story arcs and regions to explore. As an add-on to the original game, you do need to own the original.

This Viking Saga will delve even further into RPG and fantasy elements, a marked difference from other AC titles. Eivor must embrace their destiny as Odin. This allows characters to wield the powers of a God, shapeshifting and bringing the dead to life. All of this comes from the influence of actual Norse mythology.

For example, one of the new locations in the game is Svartalfheim, the Dwarven realm. Fire and ice play a huge part in the expansion, as you face new frost giant enemies and Surtr the fire giant. A personal narrative about the journey of Odin as he tries to rescue his son Baldr from his captors accompanies this.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok Release Date

The Dawn of Ragnarok is set for release on the 10th of March 2022. If you pay for a season pass, the expansion is not included. It will cost $39.99 USD or £34.99.

Preordering gets you a host of goodies. This comes from the Twilight Pack. In it are the Algurnir Dane Axe, the Twilight Gear Set, the Havardr Lynx Mount and Dellingr’s Envoy Raven Skin.
