To do so, you need to find where Ragnar’s death happened in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which you can only do after defeating the Drengr. After you do that, there’s still the matter of how to reconstruct Ragnar’s death. The task is actually simple, but could cause a little confusion. So, to prevent that happening to you, here’s our Lost Drengr of Ragnar Lothbrok – Reconstruct Ragnar’s Death AC Valhalla guide.

How to Reconstruct Ragnar’s Death in AC Valhalla Lost Drengr of Ragnar Lothbrok?

To reconstruct Ragnar’s death in Lost Drengr of Rangar Lothbrok, all you have to do is go to the snake pit that the quest leads you towards. It’s in Northumbria, near Jorvik. From there, you can either go down into the pit, or stand on the wooden platform above it. If you do opt to explore the hole, make sure to clear it of snakes first, there’s still a bunch of them slithering at the bottom, and they’d love nothing more than to ruin your day.

Wherever you choose to stand, what you have to do next is to look at the giant cage at the bottom. As you might have already guessed, that thing housed the fabled Ragnar Lothbrok at the very end of his life. As you look at the cage, tap R3 to activate Odin’s Sight and trigger a cutscene that will show you how Ragnar died. That might confuse some of you, the fact that you only need to tap R3, rather than hold it as usual. After the cutscene end, all that’s left is to go into the pit and pick up a little something of Ragnar’s.

If you’re wondering how to start this quest, it’s pretty simple. You first have to download Update 1.1.2, obviously. Log into the game and then find and defeat all the Drengr scattered across the map, if you haven’t already. After you beat all six of them, the Lost Drengr of Ragnar Lothrbrok should trigger.

After defeating all the Lost Drengir, I unlocked the quest The Lost Drengir of Ragnar Lothbrook (as foretold). Went to the marker, pushed button for Odin’s sight when prompted, and nothing happened. Then I went back, followed your instructions, again, nothing happens. I see the cage, the quest marker, and the the snakes, Would you be able to tell me what I might be missing? Do I have to complete anything else first? Could it be a Ubisoft error? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you! I couldn’t get it to do anything and I thought the quest was broken. I’m glad I found your guide.
