Lunden Mysteries AC Valhalla

AC Valhalla Lunden Mysteries are five different world events that you can complete in the city. They vary from flyting and discovering treasures, to stealing artifacts and freeing a man stuck in a warehouse. Some of them are more problematic than others. For example, the Business Notice world quest where to have to find Maximilian of Londinium for the Rivalry for the Ages quest, and the woman on the docks not being there anymore. Well, we’re going to help with all of your problems in our Lunden Mysteries AC Valhalla guide.

Maximilian of Londinium – Business Notice World Quest – A Rivalry for the Ages AC Valhalla

To complete the Rivalry for the Ages quest featuring Maximilian of Londinium, aka the Business Notice world quest, you first need to unlock it. This is one of the AC Valhalla Lunden Mysteries, and to get it, you must first build a museum in Raventhorpe. Then, talk to Octavian to get the Rivalry for the Ages quest. Also, you have to complete the Alliance quests for Lunden. Only then does Maximilian become available. Otherwise, he will never spawn, no matter what the business notice says.

When you talk to ole Max, you have three options. One is to pay him 130 Silver, one is to leave, and one is to convince him to give you the artifact. For the latter option, you need Level 5 Charisma from flyting. If you decide to pay, he’ll just let you into his house, where you collect the statue and just leave. The third option is the most fun. Refuse to pay, go to the right and talk to the kids on the corner. Pay them 65 Silver and wait for the girl to lead Maximilian away. Snatch the key from the stool, unlock the door, swipe the statue, and run.

As can be the case with other Lunden Mysteries in AC Valhalla, this one can glitch out. Specifically, the key might not spawn. If that happens to you, reload your most recent save, and that should fix it just fine. It has for us, anyway.

AC Valhalla Lunden Mysteries Woman at the Docks – Fish with Bow or Fishing Line – Woman Not There

The second of the AC Valhalla Lunden Mysteries starts at the woman at the docks south of the Temple of Mithras. If you listen in on the conversation, you’ll learn of some kind of treasure below the water. So, use your Oden’s Sight to spot it, dive down, and open the chests. This will net you the waterlogged not, so return to the woman with it. Disregard what she says, you actually need to catch a fish.

Approach the edge of the dock and use Odin’s Vision to mark all the fish. You can use either the bow or the fishing line, both work fine. We got the right fish on our first try, so it might be that you only have to catch one. Either way, you’ll see a little golden glow, so jump into the water and get the necklace. Go back and talk to the woman. You can either give her the necklace or keep it for yourself. Either way, the world event will be over.

Now, some players have a problem with this AC Valhalla Lunden Mystery, where the woman at the docks is no longer there. This can happen after you complete the main quests in Lunden, as far as we can tell. Don’t worry, she just moves a little bit further on the docks. Just look for the little speech bubble above her in the vicinity.

Lunden Mysteries in AC Valhalla – Journal, Tattle Rag – Kitt, Cynewulf, Ysane Locations – Fallen Stars World Event

The Fallen Stars world event is one of the Lunden Mysteries in AC Valhalla. To complete it, you have to find three band members – Kitt, Cynewulf, and Ysane – after reading the journal and tattle rag. Kitt is playing near St. Paul’s Cathedral. Ysane is on a ledge near the bridge to the east, just outside of the city walls. Cynewulf is in jail, in Crepelgate Fort. Get the key from one of the guards and bail him out. Go back to the start of the mystery and stand in the middle of the crowd to complete the Mystery. You can see all the relevant locations below.

Lunden Mystery Man Stuck in Warehouse Demon Odour at the Tithe World Event Solution

To solve the one of the AC Valhalla Lunden Mysteries with the man stuck in the warehouse, aka Demon Odour at the Tithe, go to the back of the building. If you look to your left, you’ll see some shelves with pots in front of it. Move the pots away gently. I mean, you can break them, but they smell like death. Then, move the shelves back and to the right. Repeat the process once more. In the third instance, there are two shelves and a whole bunch of pots. You have to move the first shelf all the way to the left, then pull the second one. Talk to the stuck man, and that should end it.

Augusta the Cheerful Flyting Lunden World Event Answers

The correct answers in the flyting duel with Augusta the Cheerful Lunden world event kinda flip the game on its head. Instead of trading insults, you actually need to be nice and compliment her. A lovely departure from the usual fare. Here are the answers that you have to give.

  • You’re the picture of elegance, beauty and grace.
  • O, your valour’s the subject of story and song.
  • It is truly a pleasure, my partner’s sublime.

By the way, if you don’t know where to find Augusta the Cheerful, she’s southeast of Lundenwic Abbey, near the watchtower. That’s all the way to the southwest of Lunden proper. Check out the screenshots below to see exactly where she is.
